  • Video library shops of East Hull.....

    Hi,
Does anyone have any memories, stories or photographs of the Video Rental library shops of East Hull during the early 1980's?
I was lucky to have a VHS recorder as a youngster in 1979/80, rented by my dad from Reddifusion on Holderness Road. I remember the small selection of rental movies they had in the store and at six pounds each for two nights it was an expensive do!
The first two VHS movies I watched where "Dracula (1979)" and the TV movie "Buck Rodgers"
It would be great if anyone has any recollections of the shops, especially "Jupiter Video ", a little shop on Southcoates Lane where I spent ages in, and Pharaohs video, on Holderness road, which made renting cheaper as the offered deals during the week.
    Cheer's
Working...
